DO I NEED TO GIVE A DEPOSIT WHEN MAKING A RESERVATION?

We may require a deposit of £20 per person to secure your reservation.This is generally the case for all bookings on a Saturday evening after 5PM, but this may also extend to special celebration days or for large group bookings. You will be informed when you make the booking if a deposit is required or not.
In December, group bookings are subject to £30 per person deposit
On Valentines day, we require a deposit of £30 per person
Your deposit will be taken off your final bill subject to the following terms and conditions.

Terms and Conditions of deposit payments
BY PAYING YOUR DEPOSIT, YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

All reservations are provisional prior to receiving your deposit.
Your deposit is fully refundable or transferrable if cancelling 72 hours or more before your booking. If you cancel within the 72 hours before your booking, Teppanyaki reserves the right to keep your deposit in full.
The deposit paid will be fully deductible from the final bill on the evening, subject to72 hours notice regarding any guests who will not be attending on the evening.
If we do not receive this minimum amount of notice, the deposits will become non-refundable or transferrable for those guests who do not attend.
Any deposits are non-refundable within 72 hours of your booking. If you make your booking in the 72 hours prior to your booking date, then your deposit will be nonrefundable or transferrable unless we are able to resell the seats.
To ensure that you do not lose any of your deposit, please let us know if there are any changes to the numbers of your party as soon as possible and if we are able toresell those seats, we will be happy to refund the deposit for that seat.
In the event of an uninformed no show, the deposit will not be refundable and an extra £20 per head will be chargeable.
In the event of a partial uninformed no show, £20 per no show head will be non-refundable and an extra £20 per no show head will be chargeable.

HOW DO I CHANGE OR CANCEL MY RESERVATION?

If you no longer wish to keep your reservation or the number of your party goes down, please email us at teppanyaki@hotmail.co.uk as soon as possible.

WILL I GET TO SIT AT THE TEPPANYAKI TABLE?

Whilst all our dining tables are teppanyaki tables, not all bookings will be automaticallysat in front of the chef. To ensure a seat at a hotplate with a chef cooking for you, everyone in your party mustorder either a Set Menu or an A la Carte main course each. Otherwise, the cooking tables are subject to availability. The notice period is 72 hours before a reservation as per the T’s & C’s above.

HOW LONG IS THE TEPPANYAKI EXPERIENCE?

A usual teppanyaki meal will take approximately 1.5 hours to 2 hours from the time of your booking. This time includes 15/20 minutes in our bar area to order your food and drink, therefore it is not necessary to arrive much earlier than your booking time.
In the event that you expect to arrive late, you are advised to contact us as far in advance as possible.

By arriving late to your booking, your dining experience may be cut short due to later bookings.
Should you arrive more than 10 minutes late without having notified the restaurant, your table may be forfeit.‍

CAN WE SHARE A SET MENU BETWEEN 2 PEOPLE?

Unfortunately no, 1 set menu cannot be shared between 2 people.
All our set menus are designed for 1 per person.

DO WE ALL HAVE TO ORDER SET MENUS?

Large group bookings of 7 people or more are limited to our Set Menus, unless prior arrangement has been made with the restaurant and a pre order provided by email 3 days before your booking date. Please note, this does not apply on Saturday nights and all group bookings of 7 people or more must order set menu each.

During December, we will only serving our Christmas set menus from 3.30PM onwards.

On Valentines day we will only be serving our special Valentines Set Menus.‍

HOW LATE ARE CHILDREN PERMITTED IN THE RESTAURANT?

Children aged 11 years and under are permitted all day and night apart from saturday nights after 6PM.
If you wish to join us for a Saturday evening reservation, please be aware that parties including children under the age of 11 should make reservations for no later than 6pm(reservation durations may vary but each reservation can not go beyond 8pm). Please also note that children under 16 years of age need to be accompanied by an adult todine. When making a reservation please include children aged 11 and under in the total number of guests and inform us if a high chair or space for a pram/pushchair is required.‍

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

Teppanyaki’s dress code is smart-casual. Trainers are acceptable.‍

WHAT IS THE LARGEST GROUP BOOKING YOU CAN ACCOMMODATE?

The largest group we can accommodate to seat altogether is 20 people. We can accommodate larger groups than this, however we would have to split your group across 2 or 3 tables‍
